Preferably freeware, if at all possible.

I have software that will put videos from the “My Video’s” folder in to an ipod compatible form. The problem is i dont know how to download dvd’s that you have to the My Videos folder. If there is a way, i would like to know how to do it.

is there any easy software i can use to convert a DVD to a video file so i can put it on my iPod?

I know workstations cost a lot more because of the faster processors and everything. I am using software that animates my PowerPoint lectures, and I would like to record and capture the animated presentations so that they don’t appear choppy. Do the increased power of workstations help reduce choppiness when filming animation or video for internet broadcast?

Is a computer like this significantly better to justify its high cost? How much difference would I see in the quality of recordings for animation? I’m trying to find out whether there will be sufficient increases in the quality of my live flash recordings to justify spending more money on this computer versus, say, the one I’m using now, a Pentium 4, 2.8GHz,
