Is there a way to download dvd’s you have (such as Meet the Fockers) to the My Videos folder.?

I have software that will put videos from the “My Video’s” folder in to an ipod compatible form. The problem is i dont know how to download dvd’s that you have to the My Videos folder. If there is a way, i would like to know how to do it.

What is the difference between a desktop and a workstation?

I know workstations cost a lot more because of the faster processors and everything. I am using software that animates my PowerPoint lectures, and I would like to record and capture the animated presentations so that they don’t appear choppy. Do the increased power of workstations help reduce choppiness when filming animation or video for internet broadcast?
